I don't BELIEVE you have stumbled upon Moondog, somehow, or that he's on YouTube! Amazing. I figured he was long lost in obscurity. It's touching, somehow, to see that he is still remembered and being enjoyed.
I bought a record of his back in the early '70s, I think it was, and enjoyed it. I probably still have it kicking around this place somewhere, but I don't play my old vinyl LPs often anymore. I'll have to look for it. I don't recall whether this piece was on it or not, but it sounded familiar, and I think it probably was. I enjoyed it, thanks!

Indeed He is risen!
I knew vaguely of Moondog for a while, but haven't really gotten into him until very recently. I think he's amazing. No one before or since has done anything quite like what Moondog did. His music is utterly unique, and is not overly concerned with soulless displays of virtuosity and power that some modern composers are prone to.
